The Story & Work of Celia Daniels: Going BEYOND What We See (Podcast)

I had the honor of interviewing Celia Daniels on the Leading People First podcast. When I first met her, I wanted to explore her story and work in-depth and knew that the episode would be special.

Celia (She/Her) is an Asian Indian non-op trans women of color who is an entrepreneur, musician, photographer, story teller, activist and a filmmaker. She writes and speaks passionately about her struggles and challenges she faced in her family, work and community both in US and India.

Celia is management consultant with over 20 plus years of demonstrated success in operating, growing and spearheading media, healthcare and life sciences engagements for the fortune 100 companies like Amgen, Gilead, Genentech, United Health, BlueCross and Americhoice. She has managed global cross-functional teams and implemented enterprise strategies, maximizing ROI for multi billion dollar clients. She has been consistently recognized for customer satisfaction and employee empowerment. She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in computer science.

Celia brings an amazing intersectional blend of ethnicity, creativity, culture, religion and corporate experience in her activism. Received the 2019 Human Rights Campaign’s equality award for “Outstanding Commitment and Service to Our Community”. She is currently in the Executive Board for Trans Can Work and the VP of Stonewall Democrats of Ventura County, California.
